I was off on last Wednesday (7 May 2008). Went to office for the monthly breakfast meeting and Met Micheal for Bible Study at 7pm. The meeting ends about 1pm and BS only starts at 7, I decided to catch a movie.
Dance of the Dragon ~ A story about a Korean boy who fell in love in ballroom dancing after his mother brought him once to a concert. He was raised up in a low income family but that did not stop him to persue is dream. He started by reading ballroom dancing book and pratice secretly in his room. Soon his was discovered by his father and was force to stop dancing because he dancing will not make his son a living. His father even sent him to a martial art school.
20 years later, he finally had an opportunity from a dance school in Singapore. He knows that inorder to realise his dream, he had to leave Korea and come to Singapore. It is not easy for him to survive in Singapore as things are expensive here, so he have to work part-time to support his expences. After lots of pratices and hardship in the things that he encounter, he finally made it to the ballroom competition and win his girls heart.
This inspiring story speaks a multi-dimenstional relationship; father and son, teacher and student, romance between the 3 leads and achieving your dreams....
I rate 3/5. The story line was good, always alot of rainy days with I find abit too much.. Last dance part, can be better cos I think too much of editing.
